  When you have all the files freshly on your site... there is nothing to see,you have to configure the site.

  You can start configuring the installation of SPIP. You have a long choice of language for the interface if english is not your thing.

  Setp 1: Enter the details of the database connection...

  Step 2: Choose/Create the database where to install. In this case, I chose a database the server admin had created for me.

  Step 3: Create your user account for accessing the private area.

  If you have access to a LDAP directory, you can use that to register automatically your users.

  You have a frest section, you can create new articles to publish or sub sections.
