View the basic search features of NYPL's E-Journal Portal (from home). Note: There is also an E-Journal Portal (from branch) which provides access to even more periodicals. Functionality for both E-Journal portals is the same.

  Start st the homepage for the New York Public Library (http://www.nypl.org)

  There are several search options. The first is by typing the name of the journal/magazine/newspaper your looking for

  Notice that each database that has the NY Times also lists the dates that they contain for that periodical

  The second search type available is alphabetic by the title of the periodical, this allows you to browse a list if your not sure of the exact title
- 2:15
  A third search type is by subject, if you performing research on a topic and want to find periodicals covering that topic
