Notes
- 0:10Let's try the standard scaling.
- 0:21The aspect ratio is lost. The balloon looks bloated.
- 0:38Let's try the same with Liquid Rescale.
- 1:23The balloon is weird, there are still distortions in the features. We need to protect them.
- 1:31We need to create a protection layer.
- 1:39Let's select the balloon with the Foreground Select tool.
- 1:56We draw an approximative selection around the balloon.
- 2:00and paint over the foreground object. (note, this is a tool independent from the liquid rescale plugin).
- 2:12A few adjustments are still needed.
- 2:43Let's mark the balloon in the protection layer. The marking doesn't have to be perfect in this case.
- 2:50We use a plain colour to protect the balloon.
- 3:00The protection covers the balloon. Let's add other features to protect: the spectators
- 3:32We tell the plugin that we have a protection layer.
- 3:39This takes a few seconds...
- 4:29... and now it's done.
- 4:34We can hide the protection layer.
- 4:37The balloon shape hasn't been distorted. Space has been taken in less important part of the picture.
- 4:46You can not really find scaling artefacts with the naked eye.
