      Let's try the standard scaling.
    • 0:21
The aspect ratio is lost. The balloon looks bloated.
    • 0:38
Let's try the same with Liquid Rescale.
    • 1:23
The balloon is weird, there are still distortions in the features. We need to protect them.
    • 1:31
We need to create a protection layer.
    • 1:39
Let's select the balloon with the Foreground Select tool.
    • 1:56
We draw an approximative selection around the balloon.
    • 2:00
and paint over the foreground object. (note, this is a tool independent from the liquid rescale plugin).
    • 2:12
A few adjustments are still needed.
    • 2:43
Let's mark the balloon in the protection layer. The marking doesn't have to be perfect in this case.
    • 2:50
We use a plain colour to protect the balloon.
    • 3:00
The protection covers the balloon. Let's add other features to protect: the spectators
    • 3:32
We tell the plugin that we have a protection layer.
    • 3:39
      This takes a few seconds...
    • 4:29
      ... and now it's done.
    • 4:34
We can hide the protection layer.
    • 4:37
The balloon shape hasn't been distorted. Space has been taken in less important part of the picture.
    • 4:46
You can not really find scaling artefacts with the naked eye.
