Looks like you do not have the free java 1.5 (or later) plugin for your browser. Java is a plugin which lets you do alot of cool things right from your browser... You should get it so you can create and view screencasts:
Requires JAVA 1.5 or later if you do not see anything above make sure you have java

      Hey, on Moodle.org's demo site you actually can't embed flash (it's disabled by default on all Moodles. You can do it though, we have a moodle that allows you to embed flash any where there is a text editor present.

      Just an fyi. I'm also not a fan of the UI for quizzes. It's about as easy as making quizzes using PPT.

      If you get savvy with the GIFT format though you can bust out multiple choice, matching and fill in the blanks much faster. Just one more thing to learn though.
