How to create a screencast.

Looks like you do not have the free java 1.5 (or later) plugin for your browser. Java is a plugin which lets you do alot of cool things right from your browser... You should get it so you can create and view screencasts:
Requires JAVA 1.5 or later if you do not see anything above make sure you have java

    • 1:19The "Little Red Dot" is useful to capture mouse action.
    • 1:37Right now we have 5 min max per screencast. Let us know if you'd like to have more!
    • 1:43Start capturing inside the black frame.
    • 2:21After pausing a capture you can either start recording again at the end or go back and start somewhere in the middle.
    • 2:47Click the "X" button when you're done capturing.
    • 2:57Enter Title, Description, and Notes that you want to have for your screencast. If you make your screencast "Public" then these fields are also searchable on the website.
    • 4:09After upload your screencast is ready to share!
    • 4:37Click on the link to see the end product.

      This screencast is slightly outdated... Doesn't have new larger capturing sizes or the follow mouse option, but the rest of it is still pretty accurate.
